I cant act to save my life, but i want to take an acting class in school?
I want to take acting because it seems like fun and I want to get better at acting. Will the professor fail me if I don’t show any improvement by the end of class?

Acting is fun unless you don’t like performing in front of a group of people. I took a TV and Radio class last year for my speech credit and it was really fun. I can’t act in front of an audience… it’s better when it’s a camera but I’m still pretty bad but I got an A because I tried :/
I’m sure the teacher will just grade you based on effort and it seems like you’re very enthusiastic about acting so that shouldn’t be a problem. I actually found out that I’m very good with radio broadcasting and all that stuff so you never know what you’ll find in those classes.

If you work hard, you will show improvement. They wont fail you just because you aren’t very good. If you are taking a basic acting class, it’s more about learning technique and trying to apply it, not being a star in the making.

Go for it! And realize that everyone has the ability to act. Havent you ever forced yourself to smile when you didnt feel like it? Played sick when you really werent? Played a joke on a friend and kept a straight face? Of course you can act.
