I was nervous because, even after all of the orientations and convocations and other activities, I still didn’t really know what to expect. It took a few weeks to adjust to living in a dorm with lots of strangers and have no privacy at all. The classes weren’t too difficult to adjust to for me, I actually found them to be less demanding work-wise than my high school classes. But definitely getting the time-management skills down properly takes some experience. I always carried a campus map and a book a needed to read for class with me where ever I went so I wouldn’t get too lost and so I could get work done instead of standing around doing nothing. College is a great experience, and with a little bit of adjustment time, it really becomes second nature pretty quickly. Enjoy!

The college I attend is a small college. It wasn’t a bad transition for me. Personally, I loved high school when I was there but college is so much better and I would never want to go back to high school. Time management was the biggest thing for me my freshman year. I had to balance my classes, homework, my job and friends. I was able to balance it all and my transition was a smooth one. Even now, I’m going into my senior year and I have even more that I have to balance but I have to find the time to get my stuff done for school. That’s the most important part to me… I’m in college to get an education and graduate with my degree. Get involved and be social… but make sure you’re getting your work done as well.

It’s nothing.. for me, i think the only change was the environment. And the way of study is different. It’s good to be more independent. So, study hard with your own effort. Nobody is going to help you besides yourself. This was the only thing i feel when i made the transition couple years ago.

It felt like the first day of high school , College is wat better though more mature, meet great people and you learn alot, you will also see the work is harder but you try alot harder because unlike in highschool in college its important to succeed. Ill be done college in 1 more month I only went for a year and its been the greatest experience of my life

Stressed, scared and freaked. I did not know if half the time I was coming or going. I thought I was going to go under, but I survived just as you will. Once you get used to the surroundings and situation it becomes like second nature. Trust me it is worth it in the end.
