You will do just fine. Your SATs are just okay, but the rest of the package makes up for that. By all means re-take the SAT, though, and perhaps invest in a review course [my kids both took Kaplan and increased scores by a couple of hundred points each].

If you have any desire to be an astronaut, Purdue seems to be the #1 astronaut-training school.

With all your qualifications, you also may seriously consider the service academies. The education is paid entirely by the government [room, board, books, tuition, and spending money] and they are fine conduits to getting into the aerospace world.

WTG Girl!! Your chances are excellent. My niece had a similar scholastic resume, only no athletics. Her heart was set on Rice Univeristy in Houston (which she graduates from this coming May). She received offers from ALL kinds of Colleges and Universities. Even had an offer of a full scholarship to Baylor. She got a small scholarship from the local Spanish TV station, as well as a few other scholarships. She was also a caucasian female, raised by a single mother, no father involved. Mom has some college but not a graduate.

If you ask me, I’ll say there’s no need for you to ask this question dude. You know yourself already.

I guess you wanna hear it from us. Ok then! Your chances of passing is a hundred percent. Is that good enough? I can see that you belong to the achiever class of people and that you are a Type A.

You know, I was just a slacker before I attended dls for a bachelor’s degree. My grades are just line of 8– but I passed. So what more if it’s you right?

Everything changes and often, it’ll never go our way.

You see, I had an ECE friend on that university who was also the top student of their batch from a well-knowned school. Then when he stepped on to college, he was rejected by a girl and just screwed up. Why? He just felt like he doesn’t want to study anymore.. like he just got tired of it. He no longer comes to class, failed lots of subjects, and just plays dota all the time. One day I asked him “Are you ok with this?”, he said “I’m fine the way I am” –as if he didn’t care.

I’M NOT SAYING that this will happen to you too.. But you know.. Nothing will stay the same as yesterday.

Anyway, God Bless on your studies. So long future astronaut!
