How can I motivate myself?
I love my course but still cant motivate myself to study. I feel I understand the material really well so far apart from one area that needs specialised medical equipment. But otherwise I still feel I should be doing something productive. Should I read further or just re-read my notes again and how do I convince myself to read the more boring aspects such as ethics/sociology – im studyin nursing and prefer physiology and pharmacology to examining models and theories.

When I was in college, I never read. I highlighted important things in the book as the teacher lectured and went back over it. I would suggest either making flash cards to quiz yourself or getting a study partner (not a gal to smooch with). Ne way…I know it’s tough to study for courses outside your intrest but you have to keep the main goal in mind and they all contribute to your GPA.
