How can I avoid taking chemistry classes in college?

I’m looking at a few options, and I’m interested in dermatology, as well as pharmacy, and nursing. If I choose a medical field, how can I avoid chemistry?? Me and chemistry dont do well together. I failed it twice in high school! Do I have any other options or should I just look into another field?

If you have issues with chemistry, pharmaceutical probably isn’t your calling, or most medical fields.

If you really have your heart set on it, get some help. Find a tutor, or study book or something. Otherwise something else might be a better option for you.

If you want to study pharmacy, dermatology or nursing you MUST have a solid understanding of chemistry. ESPECIALLY pharmacy !!

Perhaps you need to look into other fields of study.

Then you’re stuck! The ONLY way out is LIBERAL ARTS, General Science, Biology, Astronomy and Psychology will get you buy for them.

ANY Medical or science major and YOU have to take both Inorganic and Organic Chemistry.

Any of those fields requires chemistry. You might give it one more chance, but you might also investigate other options.

All of those fields will require chemistry. Sorry, there is no way around it.

if you failed it in high school then it’ll be REQUIRED in college. don’t change your future just because of one class. get a tutor. once you get the hang of chemistry it’s pretty simple if you continue to work at it. just study the periodic table, ions and anions, elements and atoms.

Check if your school offers a test that you can take to pass and not have to take the actual course. Like an aplitude test…
