this year is the most challenging due to the AP classes but as far as math and bio goes i understand the topics but Bio is mainly all reading and right now im getting high C low B on the tests so i was wondering what can i do in order to absorb information better such as when the teacher is talking or when im reading

I was just reading on a site for Add and ADHD people that they have done a study and people who chew gum actually retain information up to 20% better than those who do not-

Also I hav taken tests while eating mintsand when studying ate mints and I trigured my memory much better- all senses can be used to help- good luck

I don’t retain well under lecture type conditions, or by reading to myself. I know it sounds silly but try tape recording the class and listening to it later while referencing the material at your own pace (pause button). I also read chapters out loud to myself – I know it sounds silly but something about reading it and saying it helps in sink in… I also find that while I’m doing this I will question myself out loud about the subject as well – I guess if I have questions I must at least be hearing what I’m saying 🙂 Good luck!
