How can a 21 years old girl like me could compete with people in an the MBA class?
Im 21, i have a tough time studying with 30+ years old people, they have experience and stuff. I don’t know what i should do when i am in the class plus i am an international student! it seems so hard for me to compete with them and say something clever to them. What should i do so that i could fit with people who are older than me in the class? any idea?

hey girl! Congratulations! you should be proud of yourself because you are able to enter the graduate school, that means you can cope with them academically… their edge would be their experience in work, however, remember that we all learn from each other, and everyday life is a big schoolroom for us. We could even learn from kids as young as nursery age!
So cheer up and continue on and be yourself and try to share what you know and read more on the topics related to your course and be updated, this way you could level up with them. Show them that learning does not stop inside the four walls of a classroom, plus the fact that they are enrolled in the same class as yours that means you are all learning the same concepts at the same time.
May God bless you and keep praying. 🙂

Ask them about their experiences and learn. Volunteer. Find a mentor in your field of study.

You are a smart person or you wouldn’t be there. Just be your self. The older people are not expecting you to be anything other than your self.

That is your first problem there. It is not a competition. Learning should never be a competition. Give your assistance to them if they need it and they shall do the same.
