I’m not sure if I understand your question; there seem to be two parts to it. First of all, you ask about money if you take physical education or band in high school. The answer is no, just taking a course will not make it possible for you to get money. At least in the U.S. there are scholarships given for student athletes, but it is not a matter of whether you have taken physical education or not, but whether you are recruited as one of the top athletes to go to a particular college to play on their team. Talent is what will give you money. If there are any scholarships given for things like music (and these are far less common), they, too, are given on the basis of talent, and not on whether or not you are in band or orchestra or choir in school. It would also probably mean that you were planning on majoring in music in college.

Then you also ask about credits or points for entering a good university. Things like sports, music, drama, student government, student clubs, community service, and the like are considered extracurricular activities (this means that they are outside of the usual classes you have to take). Colleges are primarily concerned with how you do in your studies, so your grades and test scores will be the most important factor in determining what kind of a college or university you can attend. But, assuming you have good grades, they also want to know that you have some curiosity and interest in doing things you are not forced to do, and that is why most schools also look at your extracurricular activities to see if you are “well-rounded”. Given similar grades, a person who is involved in extracurricular activities has a better chance at getting into college than someone who has only studied.

Things like student body government, the school newspaper, voullenteer work at a hospital maybe will add some prestigue to you application.
