Why is taking an AP class better than taking a college course??

Are there any real benefits to taking an AP class in high school rather than a college course as one of my periods??

IMO, AP classes are better because they are weighted and are calculated into your GPA, where collge courses arent.. they just look good.

AP exams can earn you like 8 credits, like for example, if you geta 5 on calc bc, you can get out of 2 calc classes. for like college course you would have to take that class to get the credit.

also i think AP classes are easier because they are slower and you have 8 months for the exam. in a college course, the pace will be faster andyou will have probably only midterm and finals to make your grade and no homework.

thats just what i think. just take both.

My feeling is taking AP guides after which sitting the scan. If you do good at the scan then it counts as school credit score thereby lowering the time spent in college and lowering your total price. Plus AP credit score is identified the world over and in a few international locations just like the UK AP credit score is extra primary than a top institution degree. Granted AP credit score realization the world over will not be primary to you presently but it surely perhaps at a few factor sooner or later chiefly if you’re watching to paintings international.

Ap classes give you college credit when you take the AP exams.

They are much cheaper.

I took AP history years ago, got a 4 on the exam which gave me six credit hours. I don’t remember how much the test cost, but it was around 100 dollars, I think.

6 credit hours at my university would cost about 800 dollars.

Get them out of the way. Plus, you have to pay for them once you get to college!!
