1) Tufts University- far and away the best school on this list

2) University of Michigan- along with Cal. Berkeley, UVA, UCLA, UNC-Chapel Hill, and William & Mary it is a top tier public university

3) Boston University- I grew up in Boston, so trust me this school has a great rep

4) Georgia Tech- only good if you go for engineering, sciences or math and if that is the case it is a great school

5) University of Miami- cosmapolitan setting, expect to party at south Beach rather than campus, but aside from social scene it is a very good school

6) Clemson University- the most underrated public school in the entire country. When I hear Clemson I think of a prestigious public school as opposed to just a regular old state school like florida or Georgia.

7) University of Florida- not much difference between florida, Georgia, and Penn state—all big schools with good names in state

8) University of Georgia- see florida

9) Penn State University- see florida

10) University of Connecticut- while 10th on this list that doesn’t mean it is bad. It is tenth because the other schools are very good. UCONN is solid but not spectacular nonetheless.

11) University of Alabama- this school sucks but if you have no other option I guess that is when you go to the university of alabama.

12) UNC-Wilmington- while alabama sucks balls at least it is a real college. UNC-wilmington is not a real school. It is a joke. don’t bother applying here because to tell you the truth you are better offf just not going to college at all. Being near the water is the only plus if you go to this disgusting so-called city in that filthy, backwards state that only has Duke, Wake forest, and UNC-chapel hill to hang its hat on.

I’m a college expert/. Listen to my advice. this list is right. Always go toa private school over a public school if they are on a similar level because prestige matters and no matter how good a public school is (like michigan) there is always that state school stigma that comes along with it (except William and May and Clemson). If you want prestige and size clemson is an amazing school that i really respect.
