Has anyone taken Microbiology?
If so what is the class like? From the textbook I bought, the class looks like it’s going to be a boring. Also is the class difficult? I got an A in Biology and wonder if this class is going to be similar. Also which do you prefer Anatomy and Physiology or Microbiology?

I loved Microbiology. The class is so NOT boring. It’s about biology on a molecular level. You study everything from fungi to bacteria to virus to diseases. You do a lot with microscopes and there is almost always a fun lab. It seems a bit intimidating to some and boring to others, but it is really not. Given the right teacher, it is a fascinating class.
I thought I would prefer A&P because I am medic, soon to be nurse, and A&P is right up my alley. But it turns out that I loved microbiology so much more.
Sorry my discription of the class isn’t more detailed but I just got home from school and got to crash. If you have any more questions about it, feel free to send me a message.
Good luck and hope you enjoy micro!

I’m a Biology Major, so I had to take Microbiology. The class is hard, and boning, unless you like the subject, you will take what you learned in biology and focus on cells, mainly. I would prefer Anatomy, it’s hard but I love how the body works.

They go over the basics of microbiology in biology class. Micro is small. Biology is the study of life. Essentially, microbiology is the study of life at a molecular and cellular level. So you’ll be learning about all the little tiny microscopic pieces that make our world live and thrive. If you like that sort of thing, it’s no prob. If you find it tedious and boring, you’re just going to have to use a lot of will-power to make yourself do it and do it well.
