Graduate and Under-graduate degrees? Whats the difference?

What is the difference between Graduate, and under-graduate? I have no idea when people mean “Graduate School” or “Under-graduate Degree” what is the difference? and what makes you a graduate or an under-graduate? I have no idea what either of these mean, except for the fact they both have to do with college. Thanks for you help.

An undergraduate degree is also called a Bachelor’s Degree, which you earn after 4 years of college. You must earn a Bachelor’s Degree before going to Graduate School and earning your Master’s (depending on program, Masters’ degree’s generally take 2 or 3 years). Another undergraduate degree is the Associate’s Degree, which is earned after completing your first two years of undergraduate studies (people get this type of degree after completing a community college program). So, in order it’s: Associates, Bachelors, and then Masters. Not all professions require a Masters Degree, but nowadays most require at least a Bachelor’s…

Undergraduate just means any degree earned upto to a Bachelor’s Degree.

Graduate means after that. Master’s or Doctorate.

I have 2 Undergraduate degrees, one in Anthropology and the other in Biology.

Now, even though I had already received one degree and was studying as a Post-Grad, the 2nd is still considered an undergraduate degree because both were Bachelor’s.

If I had continued on in one of the subjects and received my Master’s Degree, that would be a Graduate level degree.

Undergrad degrees can take 2-4 years.

Graduate degrees are 4-7 years (usually after you have received your Undergrad degree.)

Under-graduated means when you taking up about the 3 year courses or Bachelor’s Degree

Graduated means when you taking up about the 4 year courses or before you can taking up the Master’s Degree in the some colleges and universities

As iam an under graduate, it means that you are pursuing degree. A nd if some body say he is graduate then it is implied that he has completed degree. Degree is a course which is done after intermediate i.e., 12th standard

the under graduates are those who’s not march in graduation day, coz they maybe have problems in their previous subject. but when they complete it they still graduates.

for example

graduates = attended graduation ceremony

under-graduates = none
