Going from a college freshman to a USMA cadet?

For a college freshman trying to “transfer” to West Point is there anything I can do in that year of college that would stand out in my application? I know that USMA looks for dedication or leadership for some club or sport but one year would hardly make an impact. Does the USMA addmissions look at my highschool activies record also, despite the fact I’ve been out for a year already?

I am sorry, but you cannot “transfer” to west point. My advice, if you are still under 23 years of age, get a congressman or house of reps to undersign you and start your application without acknowledging the other school. At west point, you have to start at the beginning.

you certainly prefer to get your accepted up. My accepted grow to be around ninety 3 in 9th grade too, and now as a senior I easily have a ninety 5, so which you would be able to extremely do it. attempt to get your GPA to be as on the perimeter of four.0 as possible. you as properly ought to desire somewhat good extracurricular activities which you’re arranged approximately, extremely volunteerism, a ridiculous SAT or ACT score (as on the perimeter of appropriate as you’re able to), appropriate your writing skills, and so on. Take all the honors and AP training as you’re able to, and set up good relationships with good instructors at your college so as that as quickly as the time comes you will get stellar letters of advice. start up up saving too, using actuality Ivy Leagues are extreme priced! good fulfillment 🙂
