Does it matter what undergrad college you got to for med?

I know that people have said that it helps with college interviews and stuff, but does it really matter? And, this may sound odd, but what about a good medical school? How will it help? Because people will look at the fact that you’re a qualified doctor…right?

Little confused, would appreciate an answer.

not in the least bit…in fact top med schools reject a lot of students who graduated from a top undergrad school, like now i have friends at ucla who have like perfect records and they got rejected from all ivy leagues, ucla, and all other good med schools…only usc took them and they are real mad, whereas i konw some students who went to UCR (which is not terrible but not nearly as comparable to UCLA) who got into ucla med school…it’s all about what you do and the experience you have cuz in th end, everyone is learning the same material anyway
