I think just about every school has a psychology department. At Ohio State, it’s our second largest major after Biology. In Ohio all credits from public universities are supposed to transfer to any other, though there are exceptions. Kent State, for example, doesn’t accept many credits from other institutions because they have many unique classes.

You can probably go to http://oh.transfer.org/cas/index.jsp (just chose this one since I go to OSU and knew where to find the program) and log in as a guest and check course applicability for schools in several states including Ohio, Kentucky, Indiana, and Illinois.

Just check out the schools themselves to make sure you like them. Otherwise you’ll be ahead in classes, but fairly miserable if you hate the university itself.

There are probably 50-100 universities and colleges where psychology is a strong and popular major. Most psychology majors go on to graduate school and that is where you want to have a very good program. As an undergraduate, look for schools that are right for you and then research their psychology department and the depth of its courses.
