DO you think I have a good shot into Boston University?
Do you think I have a good shot into Boston University? (not to be confused with boston college) I have a 3.589 GPA out of 4.0. My SAT score is Math: 630 Reading: 610 Writing: 560
My SAT subject tests Math 1: 650 Literature: 600
I know I can get into BU’s College of General Studies, but I don’t want to go there. I want to be accepted into BU’s 4 yr colleges, where i can major in Biomedical Engineering. Do you think I got a shot? How good of a chance? PLEASE HELP

P.S. I go to a very competitive High School so compared to others… i barely am in the top 35% of seniors.

I think you definitely have a pretty good chance. It’s probably a “target” (not a safety, though.) Be sure to apply to other schools just in case you don’t get in! Although you could apply Early Decision or Early Action if BU is definitely your first choice.

I had a very similar background and was accepted to BU (School of Ed). Make sure you have a solid personal essay, turn in your application as soon as you can (or apply early decision, if BU does that, never did it myself), and make sure to maintain your grades this year because colleges do look at senior year grades.
