Your best course of action is to start in a Community or “Junior” College. They would see that you meet all the requirement for you core subjects (including remedial courses) and get you into the college life style and system. Once you have met the core requirements you can transfer to a 4 year school.
Good luck, keep plugging away at your goal.

I’m assuming that if it’s a top-notch school then you are required to have a good score.
If it’s a local college or university, most will accept you, you’ll just have to take a non-credit math and english class in place of not having a high enough score. It sucks (because you have to go thru a whole semester but it’s only pass or fail and you don’t get credit for it.) Try to check with your soon to be school’s admissions, they’ll let you know what you need to do.
So you’ll be ok. =)
oh and you will probably be forced to take a study skills class or something of that nature.
