Difficulty in understanding Degree terminology.?

Ok So I’m in year 12. My UCAS application begins in september. I’m running through thousands of courses and keep seeing BSci and MChem everywhere.

What i want to know specifically is what are all the degrees possible [including the two mentioned above] and what they mean. It would also be useful if i could have a ranking order too of the best etc.

I’ve looked all over the internet but nothing has come up that really makes sense.

Thankyou.

All you really need to know right now is that you are looking for undergraduate programs. Those will be programs at the Bachelors level. There are different specific degrees in different programs (Bachelor of Science, Bachelor of Arts are the most common and no, one is not better than the other.)

The MChem is a graduate level degree. That is a Masters degree, which is something you might study for after you earn your Bachelors degree.

Bachelors is undergraduate.

Then graduate is first Masters, then PhD.

Not all areas or jobs expect or require graduate level work but in other areas it is almost impossible to do much without the advanced degrees. That will totally depend on what your undergraduate major is and what your career goals are; the faculty in your program will be able to give you the most accurate advice about graduate work when the time comes.
