Im doing an indepth course on Dementia and one of the questions im stuck on is asking me for the five elements of positive care as defined by Professor Kitwood.
I’ve searched the internet but havent found these five elements can anyone help?

1. Behaviors are a desire for communication
on the part of the person with dementia
and an opportunity to share.
2. We must maintain and uphold the value of
the person regardless of his/her level of
dementia. We must consider attempts to
provide the core psychological needs
(love, comfort, attachment, inclusion,
occupation, identity).
3. Promote positive health
4. All action is meaningful
5. Our work must contain elements of
positive person work
