community college entrance exam?

Does anyone know how long placement/entrance exam is? Or how many questions per exam subject?

Also, they said one portion is writing an essay. Do you do that in class or do you have time to do it at home? If it’s in class, is it hand written?

It is a placement exam. If you don’t do well, you will be required to take remedial classes in reading, writing, and/or math.

My department’s math placement test is about 40 questions and students have no time limit.

All tests (writing included) are done on campus by hand.
