I was forced to change colleges because of financial issues. I had to leave all my friends, the man I love, the city of my dreams.

I want to make the best of my situation.

Though I’m a bit older than you, I do answer with sincerest honesty. I can’t count the number of times in my life when I was not happy at all with situations that occurred or didn’t occur. Down the road (could be weeks, could be years), I was able to say “though that looked like the end of the world at the time, now I see it was the best thing that could have happened. or Thank God “whatever” didn’t happen the way I wanted.” It will happen to you.

Simply throw yourself into this thing. Be thorough in your study habits, completing assignments early or on time. Participate in classes and be supportive of your classmates (especially those who may be struggling). Honor the needs of your body and mind by nurturing both. Make time for fun, alone or with a group.

This may turn out to be a blessing in disguise…

try to look on the bright side…

you’ll make new friends, you’ll be able to start something completely new…you can be anything you want to be…blank slate…as far as the man you love? you can still keep in touch with him…the long distance thing…and depending on how far you are from each other maybe he could visit during the weekends or you could go there….

If it was the city of your dreams, then in my experience it is a bad idea to leave, for almost any reason. even more so then the other things you listed.
