Can I get into Vanderbilt University with a 29 on the ACT and a 3.73 GPA?
I feel as though I’m a very rounded student. I’ve only taken 1 honors class throughout high school, but during my senior year I am going to be taking 2 AP classes (economics and psychology). I’ve been involved in the marching band at my school for all of high school, as well as being extremely involved in almost every aspect of my schools music program. I’ve been on 4 missions trips all over the world, and this summer I worked as an intern for a major construction company. Do I have a shot at a competitive school like Vanderbilt?

Vanderbilt is a reach, but it might happen. Don’t think that the extracurriculars will make up for academics which are significantly below the average at a school. Almost no school considers the extracurriculars nearly as much as the academics.
Also, note that class rank is much more important than GPA.
Schools a notch below in competitiveness would probably take you, though.
