Can I get into college, if so, which?

Alright. I’m a Senior this year, and I’m seriously stressing about whether or not I can get into college. I want to enter a pre-med program, ideally. Think I can do it? And if so, any school recommendations?

Stats:

Unweighted GPA: 3.635

Rank: 87/445

SAT: CR-660 M-610 W-620 (Retaking)

ACT: E-29 M-27 R-35 S-27 C-30

Courses:

3 AP Courses Senior Year

Honors English 1-3 (AP Lit on 4th year)

Algebra 2 HON

Pre-Calc HON

My math only goes up to Pre-Calc, but I’m also taking Anatomy and Physics.

Extra Curricular:

1 year part-time job in Computer Repair

(I should have a little more after senior year, but not much)

Pretty much just my freshman year is dragging me down. So, can I get into ANYWHERE with a decent pre-med program?

Yes, no problem. Your stats are not bad. School recommendations over the Internet like this are tough to do. Doesn’t your school have a guidance counselor or college placement office — that’s what they are there for.

If that’s not available to you, go to a bookstore or public library and thumb through some college guide books.

Tip: If you lack confidence of being accepted into a pre-med program, then just go for general liberal arts. Once you’ve been accepted, sign up for the same classes as pre-meds (chem, bio, calc, etc), then switch your major later. If your grades are good, colleges will work with you. Afterall, you’re paying them.
