It will be hard to be admitted into college with a GPA below 2.0, but if you have above average SAT or ACT scores that can overlook your GPA, it may happen.

It kinda depends on your scores on an exam such as the ACT or SAT. I would recommend that if you can’t bring your GPA up before applying, you should probably go to community college for at least a year and work at bring your grades up, then you could transfer. Hope this helps! You really can do anything if you try hard enough! Best Wishes!

Answer: Yes, you could. As for your chances: I can give you the straight answer: The only thing that will matter for you is your pseudo-immigration status and YOUR ESSAY. If you want to get into a (“extremely/very”) good college WRITE A GOOD ESSAY. Seriously, that is all there is to it. Yes, you have to do all that other stuff, otherwise they don’t take you seriously, but when you consider who’s applying, everyone else does AP, everyone else has a good list of 5-10+ extracurriculars, everyone else has earned state/national awards. You know what they don’t have? Your voice. Write a spectacular essay. (Also, PLEASE do apply to safety schools, even if you have to do it behind your parents’ backs. For the last three years at my high school, one very high-achieving person has been like “nah, I’ll get into one of these places” and got rejected from every single last one. The one last year was a close friend of mine and I can’t tell you how depressing that is for everyone involved.)

Probably not right away. Try going to your local community college. Work hard! Pull your GPA up, then apply to a four year university. This will help you ease into the college scene and also increase your chances of acceptance.

Yes, I used my schools college finder and put in minimal amissions open non-competitive schools. There are about 2,000 schools in the US that offer open admissions even though most of them are community colleges some of them are good schools. You have to do REALLY good on you ACT or SAT to get into a good college. What do you want to major in? I don’t think the link works because you need an login and password

Probably community college. I don’t know about a 4 year school though. There might be some, but not many.

You probably can get in.

Colleges want you.

Colleges are fakes. They always say that they want the students with the geatest success in the past.

The gpa is on enumber that they can look at very easily.

Each college prides itself on it’s supposed high standards of accademic excellence.

It is true that some colleges are harder to get into than others.
