For years health and recreational experts have been advocating the elimination of mosquitoes but nothing appears to be done.

The simplest way would be to produce (by radiation or lab surgery) a sterile but healthy mosquito species. Releasing these to mate with others would result in less and less offspring each time and eventually decimate their population in a chosen area.

Your project would to find out if funding for this reduction and elimination is available, alerting institutions where entomologists are available and producing news articles to acquaint the general public of the project.
