biology major, spanish minor and french minor for pre-med?

im planning on doing a biology major. along with french minor(my native language) and spanish minor. would this be too much in course work? im exempt from taking 4 classes in spanish and 6 from french exempting around 40 units of work. would this look good on a profile or resume for medical school? im pretty sure that claming proficiency in spanish and french would look good for med school

couple of things – you probably got rid of the easy courses in french and spanish – now expect to read french and spanish literature about as easily as you’re reading this message.

If you’re having no problem reading this message, then have no problem reading Voltaire’s works, then two minors are no problem – otherwise think again.

I recommend you to go with option 2. From what it sounds, you are already proficient in French. If you are pursuing a health career and are planning to work in the U.S, I think its most recommendable that you take the Spanish major bacause of the rising polulation of Hispanics. If you are planning to work in Canada, i’d go with the French. The missing 5%-10% of proficiency for each language that you think you would probably lack, you can do afterwards by always practicing when you travel to a spanish or french speaking country or with a friend.
