What classes should I take in summer school in college?help big points!?

okay I need to take a history class to get into a school but it won’t guarantee admission to this college i want to go to ..to transfer…they said I have to take this history class and ANY other class even if it doesn’t transfer but I can take another history class and that will transfer but the thing is it would save me a little time in taking 2 classes that will transfer…but taking both at the same time both being history may be difficult …I have been thinking of taking a blow off class instead of a 2nd history class like psychology atleast that makes my gpa higher but it won’t transfer….what would you do? I am not real interested in history to be honest ..so should i take that one history class and just likea blow off class? or take 2 history so i get that history class out of the way??

My suggestion is to take ALL of your hardest subjects during the summer- 5 weeks is less painful than 16! Either way they will be difficult, but how long d you want to deal with it??

For me, I took the science and math classes- because they were the most difficult for me.

Call admission, or the department of the class that you would like to take (at the school you want to transfer too). They can tell you if the class will transfer in, then if it does, whether it will be an elective, or it will fulfill a requirement. When you transfer schools, your GPA does NOT transfer, only the credits. I would suggest you take classes you can do better in, when you wont have the pressure of a full course load (as you will in the semester). The GPA may not transfer, but they will be looking at your grade to decide if you should be admitted.

By the way, psychology is not a “blow off” course, and you may find some very valuable information in such a course. Don’t be so quick to assume a class is easy, because it may be difficult for you. Keep in mind, you are at a college level now.

And for you, I would suggest a remedial English class, because I think you need the basics again.

Good luck.

whilst you are going to get credit for taking the classification for the duration of summer season college then in simple terms get it over with in the process the summer season. Why wait to take it back for a whole 3 hundred and sixty 5 days in case you could pass it in 3 months. If the classification is needed for commencement, then you truly ought to take it.
