Best School For Programming?

Im looking to attend a school to further my education to become a game devloper. I plan to major in programming, if not double major in programming and Graphic design. I want to attend a school in Either MI or TN. Does anyone have any suggestions on good schools to look into? Also i am trying to get information on grants and so forth does anyone know of any good programs to help out ..poor.. people? I am 17 i live on my own and needless to say i am very broke.

I can’t recommend anywhere in MI or TN (I graduated from KVCC in MI and still can’t recommend it, at least not for software development) and lived in TN for two years, where you will discover Orange U is not exactly prime in this area either.

But there ARE great online resources. I learned LAMP development strictly using W3CSchools website. It is free and very complete for web development (sounds like that’s your direction if you are thinking graphic design also?)

I have also used Berkeley Online Extension Courses (for Java) and that was a good experience.
