Best school for Computer Science Major?
Okay, so I am currently a student at a Jr. College and I am ready to transfer. I decided I wanted to Major in Computer Science and I wanted to know what were some of the best schools for that Major were. I realize that MIT and Caltech are probably the best but, I don’t think my GPA is high enough to be accepted (a little over 2.0).
Also, as a side question, what is a better major for someone who wants to go into Networking? Would Information Systems or Computer science be better? I was thinking Information Systems but, I noticed they had more business rather than computer classes. Thank you.

where do you live or does it not matter what school you go to?
here in florida if you get your AA degree from a jr. college, most colleges here will accept you. and one of the best is the University of Florida. my ex boyfriend majored in computer science and he was a dumbass but now he’s doing well.

San Jose State University has a really good Computer Science program. My brother and a lot of my friends just graduated and got excellent jobs in silicon valley.

For networking, Electrical Engineering is best. Carnegie Mellon U is great for CS, so is UTexas Austin
