B.A. degrees are generally for more well-rounded students, if you will. This degree gives you and overview of everything that could apply in your major, whereas, a B.S. will focus on particular areas of your major and only those areas.

Both degrees will have you doing the same general ed. for the first two years according to your schools/major’s requirements.

Its your call, do you want to know all of the concepts to your major or would you prefer to focus and be more in depth in certain areas?

Either way, both degrees are of equal standing and once you have to degree, you can do just about anything 🙂

but if my choice was between ba or bs it would depend on your other interests because it doesnt really matter in that situation. unless you were interested in working in (for example) a specific science-business arena when you leave.

i would be more inclined to go for a ba, because the science program is more specifically science, and if you are not good at (or dont like) science subjects like biology, chemistry etc, then it will do nothing but lower your gpa. the ba will also allow for some subjects relevent to businessish i guess…. sociology, human geography etc? which will help you in the long run. i would say there is no difference in terms of standing between the two if its business.
