Am I wasting my time upgrading my High School marks in preperation for a Science related Uni. degree?
Math: 73
Physics: Never taken
Bio: 80
Chem: 80
I am interested in a science related degree; leaning more towards Medicine. I’ve looked at several Uni’s throughout Canada and found a few don’t list Math and/or Physics as a requirement for the pre-MD program.
I am just wondering if I’m wasting my time upgrading/getting these course when I wont be needing them at all in Uni. Can anyone out there let me know if it’s a good idea to be obtaining /upgrading these courses in prep. for Uni? Not sure where I’ll be going to Uni. but I’m sure its generalised. AGain, please clarify. I’m located in Alberta, Canada, from which I have my High School diploma. Thanks,

If you’re really bent on a science degree, then boosting your familiarity with the material is a very good thing. If not, though, maybe you could go try some other types of classes and see if you like English, music, psychology, or some other non-hard-science discipline?
