Make sure you dress up and have prepared answers for any question you think they might ask.
Questions you can ask include: In the area you expect to major in, how many of the faculty are fully tenured? Does the department have a “star” in its academic field? Does the star actively teach, or is s/he retired/emeritus, or devoted to research? Do freshmen take classes from full professors, or mostly assistant or associate professors? In that department, how large is the average class? Does each student get individual attention without having to seek it? Ask why you should select this school over its biggest rival. (Interesting answers!) Ask about facilities you’d use, from dining halls to lounges to science or language labs to the library to music practice rooms. Make them sell the college to you.
