Soul Train. Harriet Tubman was the founder of the “Underground Railroad” to freedom.
I don’t know the ethnic breakdown of your school, but I think this works on 2 levels: The train thing and the soul of your school.
The mascot is tricky. You don’t want to perpetuate old stereotypes, maybe something with the American flag.
