What school can i expect to get accepted into?
I aksed this already, but it doesn’t look like anyone is going to answer, so I’ll try again. I’m applying to grad school for architecture this fall, my bachelor’s is in psychology with a 3.5 gpa. my portfolio is decent, but nothing special (my degree is a science, not an art one), my current gre scores are verbal 510, math 630, and writing 4.5. I’m retaking it to do a little better though. Thanks!

One of my best friends is doing that, she has a different major and wants to go into architecture. With what you have, it sounds pretty good. Try and do a few more portfolio pictures.
One big thing is to go talk to the architecture admissions people, so that they will get to know you, and you have a better chance.
Good Luck!

Let’s try to look at this from a different angle. I guess the first question will be, which school would u like to get into. Have you researched on arch grad schools in the nation? Obviously there are many to choose from, and each school is known for something different. Are u more inclined to attend a school that emphasizes on design, and theory, or more about actual practice? Is there an area of architecture that you are particularly interested in, such as sustainable design, or design-build? I think it would be in your best interest to choose school from this stand point than trying to find out what shcool you can get into. Your grades seem decent enough. I would definitely boost up your portfolio, especially coming from a non-major degree. recommendations are fairly important.
I hope this helps and good luck.
