Yeah, I think we can. I think a lot of the appeal is in the simple fact of King Arthur’s round table…it was a first in the king business, and probably the last.
The round table emphasized that everyone in the group had equal standing and equal input. It’s really great.
The story/legend has been immortal so far and may continue to be…there is a dollop of all the ways mankind can be in the story.
What amazes me, however, is the concept of the round table. Just think about how a circle is eternal, never-ending, has no stops, and there you have it… my amazement. 🙂

Knights slaying dragons. Knights in shining armor saving young maidens. Love. Love and betrayal. Friend against friend. Arthur against Sir Lancelot for the hand of Queen Guinevere.
What’s not to like. It is a story for all time. And yes, It is immortal; it will never die.
