Studying journalism at college or university?

Would there be any major differences in terms of job prospects, salary, and education if my sister studied broadcast or print journalism at college as opposed to university? She’s thinking of going to Humber College for a three year diploma

Unless one or the other is known for producing fabulous writers, i don’t think it matters. I think the one thing she wants to look into (besides which she can afford, of course) is who could get her the best internships. I think journalism is an extremly difficult field to get into, so having real world experience in college would be the best thing for her. Good luck.

i’m not sure which you’re going approximately this the main suitable way. The particularly stable journalism courses are graduate courses at journalism faculties (colleges of journalism). i might propose commencing off with an undergraduate diploma majoring in English and minoring in despite you think of you may prefer to be a journalist of. So political technology, or economics, or historic previous or despite. It to that end does not remember too plenty which college you pass to — your state college may be positive — do basically nicely. stable success.
