I have enough rank for eagle, but i don’t have a project, any ideas?
I live in battle creek michigan, but i dont have any great ideas on how to start my eagle project, i want it to have an influence on the community. I don’t know who i should write grants to or what so any help would be greatly appreciated.

I orchestrated the cleanup of a stretch of the creek that runs through my town, including getting a little funding and mechanical support from the village. Another scout painted all the fire hydrants in town. A third started a newspaper recycling program, and got various businesses to donate time and materials for plywood collection boxes.
You can raise local awareness on some important issue. Perhaps you could start a voter registration drive, or help people find information on candidates and issues.

You live in Michigan, so there is a lot of snow. One guy in my troop put reflective orange poles (about 3-4 ft. tall) near fire hydrants so firefighters can easily find covered hydrants. The town greatly appreciates it, and also, it is relativly easy and fun to do!
