Think about what these proverbs are trying to say. The “early bird catches the worm” talks about the initiative you can apply to a life situation.
I think your second one is supposed to be “many hands make light work.” (though I could be mistaken.) In this, the importance of working together (and how it solves problems so much faster, what with many different minds and ideas to try to “fix” the problem) are highlighted.
Now try to think of a way these two could be brought together. For example, perhaps you’d think of many people taking initiative together, and the benefits that would come from that.

For the first, you can talk about a person who takes advantage of the situation to get ahead at the office
the second could be a story about raising a barn, where many hands make the work go faster
