I am 20. I was 16 when I got pregnant, it was our second time. Basically, after the first time I went to the doc to ask a few Qs and stuff, I ended up getting a checkup down there and I was told that basically, I don’t actually have long to have children. This really upset me, but i focused on there must be a reason why. He said I was still fertile, not much, but in 5 years, I probably wont be able to concieve anymore. By the time I am 26, he said There is less than a 1% chance. So, the next time my boyfriend and I had sex, we used protection (pill and condom) but somehow, still got pregnant. I figured it must have been meant to be. I am also 20 (21 soon) , and pregnant again. Honestly, If I *couldn’t* raise the baby or *coudn’t* tell my parents about a possible pregnancy (like many of the girls here complain about.), then I wouldn’t have been having sex. i was ready for all that. And frankly, If i hadn’t have known that my chances of concieving were so small (I got lucky again, but i still am too young, really.) I would have had an abortion. I hear abortion also makes it hard for you to concieve again, so I didn’t want to make my chances even smaller. – But, yes, I 100000% agree with you. Except for the part about us being bad parents and schooling, I am currently doing part time university (at night) and online to be a beauty consultant. My fiance dropped out of school when the pregnancy occured too, and managed to get into a accounting course (part time). He finishes that in March, and he can get a job straight away. We live in my house with my parents, and they are lovely and understanding. I am a SAHM otherwise, and I do everyones washing, cook dinner half the time, and do more than my fair share. It’s only fair.
