You don’t say how you are physically restricted. Teaching can be a very physically demanding job. You might want to try to work as a teacher aide/assistant for a year to see if you are able to function in a classroom with your restricted physical abilities.

If you do not already have a degree, you will need minimally a Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education.

If you already have a degree in another field, you need to contact the Texas Department of Education or the local school district to find the requirements for getting an alternative certification.

I teach elementary school in Texas with a Bachelor’s of Science in Reading and a Master’s of Education. If you currently have a degree, you might be eligible to take a different route depending on your qualifications and the district in which you want to work – Alternative certification.

In Florida you may coach a million 3 hundred and sixty 5 days out of difficulty section (eg: a math instructor can coach analyzing for a million 3 hundred and sixty 5 days ) yet then he has to get qualified in his difficulty section this would not mean you like an training degree it only potential you’re able to desire to bypass a try that asserts your qualified to teach. using fact the Florida training device is predicated of Texas’ device i could think of its the comparable there.
