What would colleges be more interested in?
A high school student that swam for 4 yrs of high school but was not very good (on jv team)
or
a high school student who played tennis for 3 years who was semi good? (prob advanced jv or possbily varsity)?
or do they not really care? As long as you play a sport u love?
I’m asking this cuz i love both swimming and tennis and idk what team i should join next year because swimming and tennis are both in the same season.

Your grades are your main priority. Everything else is icing on the cake. It doesn’t matter if you don’t play sports at all if you have the brains.
The exception, of course, is if you are some kind of Tiger Woods athletic star and you already have an athletic scholarship secured at age 14, which you don’t.
Remember, even Tiger Woods can get in a car accident tomorrow, and the world will forget him.
