Just so you know all these these things have happen to my son…………..A good teacher is someone that will listen to a child when he says “I DON’T GET IT”. A good teacher is someone that when a student asks if he can come afterschool because he is struggling..The teacher doesn’t say to the parent and the student : “I can’t I have to go to the GYM after school!” A good teacher is one that when a student says “HELP ME” the teacher doesn’t say “I can’t. I have to get home because of traffic!”A good teacher doesn’t dart for the door at the end of the day when her contract says she must stay till a certain time…If any other worker did that we would be fired.Why aren’t they?

You want good students then you need people who are willing to teach these kids. NOT every student picks it up on the first try. Sometimes it is the one that does it!

A good teacher is one that goes above and beyond the obvious expectations of teaching. A good teacher engages his/her students so that every student can learn. A good student is one who tries. I’ll do anything for my students as long as they show me that they care by trying.

A good teacher is a person that can grab the attention of a person or class and keep it. Their words will be remembered years from now. A good student is one with a desire to learn.

A good teacher is one that sticks to the subject they are teaching and focuses on quality instead of quanity.

A good student is one that needs to learn, and has parents that push him/her to do well in school. I mean honestly why do people have to do well in school?

If you dont do well, infact if you drop out of high school does that mean you will be poor? Not at all, infact there are several millionaires in this country that are high school drop-outs and millions more that live a comfortably life.

Parents pushing their children to do well in school, perfect example, commonly asian students do great in school and thats because of their culture they come from and their parents.

Summary,

If kids know and realize that even if they dont do well in school they will still have a good comfortable life able to buy a new car and new house ect.. than the nessesity isnt there for them to do well in school.

Teachers have little to do with a students willingness to learn, infact thats not their job, their job is to teach in accordance with the prescribed doctrine. If a student doesnt want to learn and he fails than its his/her fault.
