Someone you can talk and joke with like a friend

Someone who knows what they’re on about and can teach their subject well

Someone who has a genuine love or passion for their subject

A teacher who is neither strict nor a pushover

A teacher who is fair

A teacher who respects you and demands respect themselves

A teacher who is fun

All these are imposrtant components of a successful teacher. And although there may be many it’s not impossible. My music teacher is proof of this. She’s perfect!

My music teacher (I won’t give out his name) was a master musician. He was passionate about music and it came across in his teaching style. He cared whether or not you succeeded in playing the dumbest music pieces because he simply wanted you to do your best. That was impressive.

My seventh grade english teacher was a hottie. But more than that, she cared about her students and everyone liked her. You actually felt bad for failing an assignment, but she never made you feel like a loser. She encouraged you to do better.

In both cases, the teachers cared about their students, but also knew their “stuff.” They were smart and knew how to teach. Those two factors alone commanded the respect of their students (who were often rowdy), but still, they were highly respected. That is what makes a teacher impressive.

He looked just like a kid whenever it came time to do the experiment. He would be laughing and smiling whenever he would mix this chemical or that chemical to something else and it would bubble or change color or whatever else.

Not just “All for the money”
