To learn a foreign language (specifically Italian), what do you recommend?

I want something similar to the Rosetta Stone for Italian. Or is the Rosetta Stone helpful?

Check out the web site below I use it for Spanish and German. The basic lessons are free but they do have a pay service that has bonus material. Also the people doing the lessons are in Scotland sooooo don’t be surprised that they have Scottish accents.

The lessons are in nice bite sized chunks about 5 min each tops and you can down load them from the site or from Itunes.

Rosetta Stone!

It’s a little expensive…but it’s an excellent program! I got to test drive it for free at my job and learned to speak some Spanish and it was a fun program. You will learn without really trying… it’s really amazing.

Moving to Italy.

//My English-speaking-only parents moved to Switzerland and learned German using Rosetta Stone, so I guess it works at least a bit.
