Firstly sound out friends, relatives etc., as to who is interested in the particular subject/idea that you have.

When you have ab out 5-8 people then have a coffee morning and discuss your reasons/objectives and final target.

At this point it might be a good idea to start taking notes and records – use a hard backed book to start with .. if finances 9membership fees) come into play you will need to appoint a Treasurer (not necessary to have other committee members at this stage).

Ensure that you have a centralized or programmed meeting date/time/place for the next meeting .. set yourself some objectives for that meeting e.g.: more people to join the informal discussions, research into the area you plan to move and at subsequent meetings/get togethers decide how big you wish to grow and who/what and where other committee members should be and details of them all to be circulated to other members of your group ..
