Well i’m taking a philosophy class this semester but only because i needed an elective or extra course. So it depends on you, if you want to teach philosophy all your life or not. Does it pay good? Sometimes yes and no. But it also depends on where you move at, cuase some places pay really good, other places not so good. I think you should go for it, if you love philosophy and what to teach it to others.

That depends on what your career goals are. Go to the department at the university and pull their career sheets. It should identify all the pertinent information. What is required to achieve that degree, what skills you will gain, what types of jobs past graduates with that degree have obtained. And what your current earning potential range would be. If you like what you see……….go for it and have a great time following your dream. If you don’t like what you see, declare yourself undecided and keep an open mind and get as many new experiences as you possibly can under your belt for as long as your money lasts. (sorry, just a little “parent paying kid’s tuition humor”)

well, depends. If you want to be a professor in a community college with Masters degree or be a professor with a PhD in a University, then you can go ahead.

This degree is only worth something when you go get Masters and PhD. Without these degrees, it’s worthless.

If you can come up with 5 jobs in demand that the degree will get you, go for it
