You need to do more research. Athiests come in all shapes and sizes and beliefs about life and morals AS do all religious people as well.

If anything the forcing of religion on to others causes more of a decline in behaviour and education than NOT believing there’s an all-seeing, all knowing being.

There are some questions you may want to ask yourself.

Why do I follow the religion I follow?

Where did I learn it?

Why is it “right” and others are “wrong”?

These are legitimate questions and those with higher intelligence would ask them before blindly following a system or belief.

There isn’t any logic to the notion that because someone does not believe in God, that would have something to do with the decline in moral behaviour – or any sort of behaviour.

What was the last count of priests sexually abusing children?

Moral decline, indeed.
