In order to create a positive learning environment the teacher and the administrator need to communicate with each other to manage the day to day activities in schools. In order to help the school teachers work more effectively the administrator needs to be able to communicate responsibilities and roles more effectively by supervising and supporting the teachers and providing them with clear instructions and responsibilities which will increase the efficiency of communication and will minimize confusion over what is expected of them in and out of the classroom.

The administrator’s job is also to motivate the teachers by giving them private and public reward, praise and recognition, involve them in major decision making by talking with them in a way that facilitates openness, honesty and cooperation, in order to develop successful relationship with the staff. Teachers and administrator also need to deal openly with their feelings and attitudes towards their job responsibilities and duties. Without effective communication the conflicts between the teachers and the administrator can be destructive.

The teachers should work to establish good rapport and regular communication with the administrator. The teachers should also show creativity and hard work in their work to let the administrator know that they are interested in their job.

Communication between the administrator and the teachers can be improved if school administrator improves communication barriers with their teachers Thereby building trust, involving teachers in decisions and knowing what is happening enables teachers to overcome assumptive barriers.
