i’m scared of private tutor?
i’m a 18 yr old girl read in class viii. i’m not a good student.my parents recently arrange a private tutor to improve me who is a guy nearly of my age.my parents instructed him to be very tough if i fail to do my h/w etc.advise him punish me with hesitation. if i fail to answer a ques the guy forced me to standup on chair . he then hit me on leg with a rular. i’m so scared and embarassed being punished by a young guy.should i be punished like this?

Absolutely not! Are you in a country where the legal age for a ‘first-time’ adult is 18 for women? Can’t you go somewhere else and continue with a tutor you like, even if you have to work and go to school at the same time?
Or just work for a while and go to school later!
P.S. Also, have you tried talking about this to your parents, separately if possible? Tell them the whole truth.

Next time this guy picks up a ruler and goes to hit you, inform him that if he touches you again you will call the police and file a complaint against him. You actually have his teaching credentials in your hands. While your parents may have given him permission to “correct” you, the reality is your parents cannot give permission for anyone to batter you. Now the hard part for you is that if the teacher does inflict punishment on you, you MUST follow through an call the police and file a complaint!!!!!

http://www.tutor.com – tutoring by professional tutors (not free)
… and many more (use search engine!).
Think outside the box and you’ll have more options.

thats not good or right! Are you from Asia?? I think that you should tell your parents that he beat you too much. Ask them to hire an older more professional teacher that is the same sex as yourself.
