children love stories. so start teaching reading by using what interest them. use visual aids to stimulate their senses. it myt be difficult because they are not english speakers. what nationality are they? if they are filipinos, it will help translating worrds for them. picture words are very helpful. so if u teach them the word cold, u may use a picture that shows cold. games are also interesting. it is how u sustain their interest and attention that will make learning easy and enjoyable. most important is how u convey ur ideas to me. it means u must have the proper facial expression, tone of ur voice and warmth. they will love u for that.
